On September 17th, 2007, Daniel Egan in cooperation with People for the American Way Foundation will be honoring the national holiday entitled Citizenship (Constitution) Day. The idea of this day is to raise awareness on what exactly the United States Constitution is? , What are the laws that are in it?, How do citizens of the United States use it?. To raise awareness Daniel & PFAW plan on holding an informational event at the Union Station Project located in Highland Park from 12am to 6pm on the date listed above.
Thanks to my mentor talking to Heather Harr who works for Greater Pittsburgh Student Voices she got us a $150 donation from Great Pittsburgh Student Voices to host Constitution Day at Union Station Project! I get to meet Heather tomorrow too which will be interesting, I might ask her if I can get an interview with her for my documentary!
